The Peterson Heritage Center is open to all university students, 24 hours a day, to serve as a resource and help answer questions. The front desk can also contact resident advisors to provide assistance, as well as to dispatch staff to assist if a housing violation is taking place.
The Peterson Heritage Center is located at 151 Connor Road.

Answer questions: We answer questions regarding student housing and residents’ concerns. We are often able to direct you to your destination whether it is at the University or in the Salt Lake area. Please ask us; we are here to help!
For residents living on campus we offer the following services:
- Access to PHC dance room
- Access to PHC music rooms
- Mailboxes (by request)
- Cart/dolly check out
- Vacuum and cleaning supply check out
- Pool tables and equipment rental
- Foosball table and equipment rental
- Sport equipment check out
- Board game check out
These items are checked out for an hour at a time. They can also be reserved in advance (day of).
Parking Passes: We sell parking passes for the parking lots in Heritage Commons (upper campus). These lots are zone 1 and zone 3. We have one day passes which are $3.50 and five day passes which are $6.00. Parking is free after 6 p.m. on weekdays and it is free on weekends. We can direct you to the closest parking lot to your destination.
DVD Now: Rent DVD’s from the machine located in the lobby of the PHC.
Misplaced your room key? A loaner key for each room is kept at the Peterson Heritage Center Front Desk. These keys will be checked out to you for 30 minutes. If you return the loaner key within 30 minutes, there is no charge. If you return it after 30 minutes, the charge is $5 per use. If you’ve lost your key, you can check-out a temporary key until your locks have been changed.
Lost your UCard? The Peterson Heritage Center keeps temporary access cards for each building of Heritage Commons in the event a resident is locked out of their building. These cards can be issued on a temporary basis. If your UCard is not working to get into your building, the PHC Front Desk can add access to your UCard.

Choose from one of our convenient meal plan options, and make your life easier. At the University of Utah there are countless dine on-campus options and one of them is conviniently placed in our residents backyard! The dining room, located on the second floor of the Peterson Heritage Center, has endless possibilities to satisfy your hunger. Offering a wide variety of meals from the fit & fresh to the indulgent dining services at the Peterson Heritage Center caters to all tastes, and is all-you-care-to-eat!
The Crimson Corner conveniently offers a variety of beverages, pastries, snacks and on-the-go meals (like sandwiches and salads). There is also a Starbucks Cafe.
