Description
Lassonde Studios opened in 2016 and is home to student entrepreneurs, innovators, and creators at The University of Utah. It's the place where students from any background or major can live, create, and launch. This building features unique living options for residents, including single and double rooms, loft-style apartments, and pods. Lassonde Studios also features a 20,000-square-foot innovation space where all students can connect, test ideas, build prototypes, launch companies, and learn by doing. When students take a break from creating, they can take advantage of on-site dining at the Miller Café or playing pool. The engagement opportunities within this building are facilitated by the Lassonde Entrepreneur Institute, an interdisciplinary division of the David Eccles School of Business. Lassonde Studios offers Information Sessions on most Fridays from 12:30 - 1:30 p.m. (in-person) and 2 - 3 p.m. (virtual).
