Design Foundations Theme Community

If you’ve been admitted as a first-year student to the College of Architecture + Planning, the Foundations of Design Floor is an excellent Theme Community option for you. The Foundations of Design Floor seeks to support the College of Architecture + Planning Curriculum by building a strong relational core among first-year students in the college.  If you live on the Foundations of Design Floor, you will interact those who are setting a strong foundation for completing any of the College’s majors and supporting each other through the rigors of first-year coursework.

Who’s Eligible? First-Year Students who’ve been admitted to the College of Architecture + Planning
Living Learning Community or Theme Community? Living Learning Community
Area on Campus: Sage Point 812 (Sage Point 813 in 2018-2019)
Associated Courses: Students who live in the Foundations of Design Floor are expected to be completing the Foundations of Design coursework through the College of Architecture + Planning.
Who Selects Residents? Selection for the Foundations of Design Floor is completed by the College of Architecture + Planning
