Spring Move-In for new residents begins Friday, January 5, 2024, at 9 a.m. MST

Early Arrival

Needing to move in earlier? Students who will be arriving on campus early should do so only after being approved through our office. Requests should be submitted via email. Please note that only students participating in university affiliated activities will be permitted to arrive early. The earliest you can move in is January 4 at 9:00am MST. Students participating in early arrival will be charged $40. 

 

NEW RESIDENTS: CHECK-IN INSTRUCTIONS

  1. You may check-in from 9 a.m.-11 p.m., beginning on January 5.
  2. At your selected time, proceed directly to your area's desk location with your UCard or a photo ID ready.
  3. At the front desk, you may check out a moving cart to help you load/unload items into your room. Please limit your move-in guests to necessary helpers.

Note: Parking lots around residential areas on Move-In Day will be free on January 5. Large vehicles, including trailers, are not permitted in our lots. Parking lots will be enforced beginning on Monday, January 8.

Returning student?

  • If you lived on-campus for fall 2023, your card will be reactivated on January 5 at 9 a.m. You may move back directly into your room and do not need to check in at your area front desk.  As a reminder, you should not turn in your room key when you depart for winter break.

Important Dates

Spring 2024

January 4: Early Arrival for Spring

January 5: Beginning at 9:00 a.m. MST, students may move-in OR return to their living areas for the spring semester.

March 2024: Release date for the end of semester plans form, in which students will sign-up for May break housing (if eligible)

May 4: All students, not signed up for May break housing, must check-out by 2pm MST
