Eligibility: Sophomores, juniors, seniors, and graduate students.
Room Types: The U of U Apartments at Block 44 include studio, one-, and two-bedroom apartments. Private bedrooms and shared bedrooms are available. Each apartment will hold between one to two students, depending on room types. Each apartment includes a shared kitchen, private or shared bathrooms, and a shared living room. Kitchens include a full-size refrigerator, microwave, sink, oven, stove, and a dishwasher.
Furnishings: Kitchen counter stools, a sectional, bed-frame, mattress, desk/nightstand, desk chair, and a chest of drawers are included.
Amenities: Amenities in U of U at Block 44 include: in-unit laundry (free), green space, community pool, community Pilates room and fitness center, basic cable, internet, and utilities. Garage parking is available for a projected $60/month (Note: Students interested in parking on campus will still need to purchase a parking permit through university Commuter Services). These apartments are located very close to the main campus at 380 South and 400 East, in Salt Lake City, Utah. They are located close to light rail transit (TRAX) within the Block 44 apartment complex but are managed by Housing & Residential Education.
Staff and Student Support: U of U apartments (on floors 3, 4, 5, and 6) have three Community Managers and one Resident Director (all hired and employed through Housing & Residential Education at the University of Utah) who support U of U residents and provide opportunities to connect residents with campus life.
