Thanksgiving Break

Happy Thanksgiving!

Housing & Residential Education would like to wish you a Happy Thanksgiving. We hope you have a happy and safe holiday. For those of you staying on campus for the break, please not that there are limited hours at the Peterson Heritage Center Dining Room, Crimson Corner and Honors Market. Please refer to our Facebook page for more information.

We're changing things up in housing!

Starting in the fall of 2016, the following changes will take place in our residence halls.

  • Gateway Heights will become single-gender buildings. They are currently gendered by floor. Not only will first-year students be allowed to live in these spaces, but sophomores too.
  • Sage Point will house first-year students as well as sophomore students.
  • A new Living Learning Community will be housed in Sage Point, the Sophomore Year Experience floor! This unique learning environment will house sophomore students who are looking to build upon their first-year experience living on campus and take it to the next level. Students living on this floor wll engage in activities that promote a culture of belonging, academic success, personal development and civic engagement.
  • We are expanding our graduate housing and Downtown Commons 2 will now house graduate students, in addition to the sophomore, juniors and seniors already living there.

  • 26-27: Thanksgiving break. Halls remain open. University offices closed.

  • 8: Spring Move-In Day/residence halls reopen
  • 11: Classes begin
